The Dubai Chess & Culture Club's own news item reports the 54th edition, played over nine rounds on 2 and 3 December 2025 in the Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Hall at the club, with 170 players from 29 countries. Both the English and the Arabic page print the series name together with the edition number (54th); no source prints it without the number, so the local name is that of the 54th edition.
