These three groups say on their Meetup pages that anyone may come. Dubai Social Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings at Peet’s Coffee in The Lofts, Downtown Dubai, where three boards with sets and clocks are ready and more sets are welcome. Chess Sunday, run by The Crazy Club, takes a corner of The South Market food hall in DIFC for three hours on Sunday afternoons.
E5 - Chess Club Dubai holds Sunday afternoon games every two or three weeks, most recently moving from a café in Jumeirah Lakes Towers to one in The Greens. Visitors are expected to order something from the host venue or to pay a small fee. Times and places are as the latest event page gives them; check the page before going.
