About these entries
Blitz is the game of Dubai’s mall organisers. The Chess Hub has played at Times Square Center, The B1 Mall and a restaurant in Al Rigga; Kajoooyax moves between BurJuman and Reef Mall; FCPL holds open blitz at Reef Mall in Deira and opens it to Filipino players and others. Their events are known from the tournament server, which lists twenty or more dated sections for each.
In Sharjah, the Expat Chess Club runs FIDE-rated blitz at the Sahara Centre in Al Nahda, partly together with an academy, and Sahara Atrium Chesskids held junior sections in the same mall. A training institute in Dubai has hosted an open blitz as well. None of these pages names a fixed weekly evening, so the dates on each entry are the guide.
